Dealing With Your Feelings

Dealing with your feeling is an important part of striving for self improvement. I think an effective way of dealing with your feeling is to listen to what your feeling is telling you by writing them down. Ignoring, squashing or undermining the power of your feeling to impact your performance is counterproductive. When you adopt these strategies, you are invariably at war with yourself.
Listen and learn from your feelings .
Today is a day of continual improvement in all areas of your ife.
Very true, Maggie!!!, thank you for your insight. it is important to be true to our feelings, if you are not honest to yourself, who else will you be honest to. You are the biggest asset you have, that asset needs to be taken care of for it to function to its maximum potential. Like a car has many parts, so our beings has many parts, if you do not attend to any the part of the car that has malfunctioned, it can affect other areas and soon the car will break down. The same is our feelings e.g if the feeling is being hurt, and it is not addressed, it can lead to other negative emotions that will eventually lead to physical illness that will hinder the productivity.
We all go through times when our hearts are heavy as described in the scriptures ‘When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is greater than I am’, ‘Come unto me all you are heavy laden and I will give you rest’. Handling these times when we feel like this is important. So let’s be real and remove the mask.
One of the ways is writing things down as you have said, I have practiced this. I write and I pray and it has worked wonders for me.
Good one on dealing with feelings and it helps a lot.

dealing with your feelings, doesn’t that mean accepting that it is acceptable to feel! feeling is not wrong! and I like the way you have highlighted that, you talk of writing down, surely this is just controlling behaviour! I like the approach with that, intresting way of putting it,
do you read these comments? there are some good points in them and I’be enjoyed reading some of them, FYI: it is concidered rude to not reply to commments (at least some of them) in the blogosphere.

Graeme
